Phuket Vegetarian Festival 2026 (Jia Chai)

The Phuket Vegetarian Festival 2026, locally known as "Jia Chai," is scheduled to take place from October 10th to 18th, 2026.

This profound spiritual event begins with the Go Teng Pole Raising ceremony on October 9th, which signifies the official start of the festival and serves as an invitation to the Nine Emperor Gods. The celebration will conclude with a grand Farewell Ritual (Sending off the Gods) on the final night, October 18th.
